Bahia Feliz
Bahia Feliz is 25 kilometres from Gran Canaria Airport (LPA)
This small resort of Bahia Feliz is situated near Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. Just a short 30-minute drive from Gran Canaria Airport. It certainly lives up to its name Bay of Happiness. Here you can relax, unwind and lose yourself in the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings.
There are a small number of hotels in the town and apartment complexes. However, Bahia Feliz still retains much of its Spanish character and charm.
In the centre of Bahia Feliz there are a few restaurants and cafes with seating outside. Nightlife is mainly confined to what the hotels have on offer. If you want more a taxi to the big resorts of Playa del Ingles is not too far.
Beaches
Playa Bahia Feliz
Bahia Feliz is one of the few remote, natural beaches along the South coast. Therefore it is made up of mainly pebbles. However, there is a section of dark sand. Not the best beach for young children as the water can quickly become deep in places. In front of some of the hotels, there is golden sand and they rent out sunbeds and parasols.
There is a windsurfing school here, Club Mistral. They provide lessons and hire equipment. Certain times of the day it can attract a strong breeze making it ideal for windsurfing.
There are a couple of small beach bars set behind the beach, ever-popular with the surfers.
Attractions
Due to its size, there are not many attractions here like other resorts. This is what is attractive though. For anyone wanting to escape the noise and the city, this is the place! However, there is always Playa del Ingles a few kilometres away for nightlife and tourist attractions.

Garbo’s Dinner Show

Shopping
There are a couple of small shops but you need to go to nearby San Agustin or Playa del Ingles for a better shopping experience.
