Gran Canaria Covid Update

Covid-19 update. The Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC) has denied the request of the regional government to limit mobility between 00:30 and 06:00 in the islands at level 3 or 4, according to judicial sources.
In this way, Tenerife remains at alert level 3, Gran Canaria at level 2, and La Gomera, El Hierro, and Lanzarote (where La Graciosa is epidemiologically included) at level 1.
The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has notified last Thursday, July 15, 690 infections of coronavirus were detected in the last 24 hours, exceeding by several dozen the record number of this Wednesday (634). This brings the accumulated cases on the islands to 67,485, of which 6,975 are active, that is, 486 more than a day before. In ICU there are 43 people this Thursday, three more than the day before; 267 in the hospital ward, seven more than the day before; and in home isolation, 6,665.
The rest of the islands remain at the level established the previous week, but all of them are under epidemiological surveillance due to some important increases and the appearance of outbreaks.
Both in the case of Tenerife and Gran Canaria, the report collects that, although they remain at the alert level they had, the indicators suggest that in the short term it is not ruled out that the higher alert level has to be established.
