AS from 14 February 2022, Spain has introduced new covid restrictions for travellers to the island of Gran Canaria and the rest of Spain. Here are the latest covid restrictions for Gran Canaria:
Unvaccinated youngsters 12-17 years of age, with a negative PCR test will be permitted into Spain starting Monday 14 February 2022 according to Fernando Valdés, Spain’s tourism minister.
All other travellers, with the exception of children under the age of 12, must submit a Covid certificate proving full vaccination at least 14 days before to arriving in Spain.
All passengers still need to show a QR code that can be downloaded after they fill in the Spanish Health Control Form.
If you have had 2 doses of vaccine that is older than 270 days you must show proof of your booster jab.
